1. Introduction

InMailr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our email alias and forwarding service.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our service, we collect the following information:

  • Account Information: Your real email address, which is required to forward emails to you and for account management.
  • Forwarding Logs: We maintain temporary logs of forwarded emails (sender, recipient alias, timestamp, and status) to provide you with the "Email Log" feature and for troubleshooting. We do not store the content of the emails themselves once they have been successfully forwarded.
  • Payment Information: Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the InMailr forwarding service.
  • Communicate with you regarding your account or service updates.
  • Prevent abuse and ensure the security of our platform.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Forwarding logs are typically retained for a limited period (e.g., 30 days) before being automatically deleted, unless required otherwise for security or legal reasons.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: For authentication and database management.
  • Stripe: For secure payment processing.
  • Postmark/SendGrid/Similar: For the actual delivery and forwarding of emails.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your dashboard. If you wish to close your account and delete all associated data, you can do so in the settings or by contacting us.
